HA goes SEA: winners trip with Amazons Female Entrepreneurs of the Future 2019

For the third time, we supported the initiative Female Entrepreneurs of the Future 2019 (#UdZ2019) – an initiative created by the German Association of Women Entrepreneurs, Global Digital Women, BRIGITTE Academy and Amazon to support female entrepreneurs to digitize their companies and professionalize their business.
From Munich to the west coast: Visiting the Amazon HQ
The last highlight of #UdZ2019 took place at the end of February: three days in Seattle. We visited the Headquarter at the west coast with the four Female Entrepreneurs of the Future, their partners, two of the coaches and the Amazon Small Business Spotlight Awards winners. Therefore, we planned the program in consultation with the US-American Amazon colleagues, booked flights and restaurants, accompanied the trip editorially and were the first persons of contact for the German visitors on site.
The result: 72 hours full with inspiring meetings with Amazonians of different teams, good food, fantastic drinks in Smith Tower (the oldest skyscraper of the city), shopping at Amazon Go, two days full of sunshine – in the rather foggy Seattle definitely mentionable – and mainly plenty insights into the world of our client!
Agency support from A to Z
It was the ending of a very diverse project for us: Beginning with the announcement in January to the screening of 300 applications to the kick-off with patroness Dorothee Bär in Berlin in April. We supported the 19 selected female entrepreneurs and their coaches, organized the regional meetings in Berlin, Munich and Salzburg and coordinated the 25 online video trainings on subjects such as e-commerce basics and product portfolio. Furthermore, we distributed and monitored press releases, video content, blog posts and social media postings, pitched stories in several media and supported the grand finale with Judith Williams in the Munich Filmcasino in October.
We hope that the Female Entrepreneurs of the Future and their coaches came back from Seattle as inspired as we were and look forward to new exciting projects!
