Crisis alarm in sports: Jochen Leufen teaches students of the Bavarian Academy for Advertising and Marketing
September 22, 2014 – From the current FIFA watch scandal to accusations of doping: There are many possible crises in sports. Last Wednesday, Jochen Leufen and the sports expert Christian Tröger made the members of the BAW studies “sport marketing” aware of these potential challenges. The focus of attention was the handling of critical issues in practice. The participants, mainly active FC Bayern Munich players, practiced journalist interviews on camera and developed collaboratively elements of communication for selected crisis scenarios. Both teachers dished out practical advices to the students and lectured on the foundations of crisis communication. Now all participants are prepared even for the trickiest situations in sports.
