Capital city air the second for the HA-Team – award ceremony for the winners of the journalist award PUNKT

October 27, 2015 – Health aids for snorers such as Somnotron, chin strap and nose brace, bread, prosperity and beauty, and even war, life and death were topics of the annual award ceremony for PUNKT – prize for technical journalism and technical photography at the concert hall in Berlin last week. In the multimedia category Thomas Reintjes and a team of the German public broadcaster Deutschlandfunk received the award for their multimedia report “1 or 0, life or death”, which deals with the use of unmanned systems such as robots or drones in warfare. With her seven-piece picture series “snorer”, Karoline Tiesler convinced the jury in the photo category. [caption id="attachment_4251" align="alignleft" width="287"]

(photo collage: Karoline Tiesler)[/caption]The photographer shows the observer health aids for people who suffer from a special kind of sleeping disorder. The photo journalism student Konrad Lippert won the photo scholarship for his project “bread, prosperity and beauty”. He plans a photo report about juxtaposition and contrast of provinces and industrial landscape in the region south of Halle (Saale). The winners can look forward to the prize money of EUR 5,000 each.
Headline Affairs has been supporting acatech – National Academy of Science and Engineering since the first presentation of awards in public relations and project management. That’s why we made again our way to the capital this year to attend the acatech festive event. Within a short time, this was the second event for us in Berlin since we travelled to the Berlin dialogue of the MÜNCHNER KREIS in the Spree metropolis in mid-October.
